Creating a more diverse ecosystem around Citrix through New Supplier Diversity Program

Citrix recently launched a formal Supplier Diversity program designed to expand the business opportunities available to small, minority-owned, woman-owned, veteran-owned, disability-owned and LGBT-owned businesses, as well as those located in Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) Zones.

Procurement joined forces with the Diversity & Inclusion team within HR to enrich our supplier environment and better represent who we are as a company. This proactive move transforms our supply chain by opening up the doors to a wide variety of partners, strengthening ties to our communities, and demonstrating that we truly believe in and live our values.

By expanding our zone of inclusion we are leveling the playing field and are more open to benefit from a fresh mix of perspectives and areas of expertise. This better positions us to compete in the marketplace and, in turn, demonstrates how our vibrant culture sets us apart.

We’re working hard to further develop and refine the program’s structure throughout the first few months of 2017. Our plans are to build a sustainable way forward that’s centered on growth and making a meaningful impact. We’re learning and growing and applying best practices adopted from companies who have proven success in this area.
