Latest EPA Libraries
Release Date: Sep 10, 2025 Subscribe to RSS notifications of changes to this pageYou can now upgrade EPA libraries on a NetScaler Gateway appliance to ensure that your appliance checks for the latest firewalls, antivirus, and so forth.
Upgrading EPA libraries eliminates the need to upgrade your NetScaler Gateway appliance solely to update the EPA libraries.
Note: The upgrade of EPA libraries is facilitated from the release build 12.0 57.19 and above.

In a Citrix Gateway high availability, the EPA Libraries must be upgraded on both the primary and secondary nodes.
In a Citrix Gateway clustering setup, the EPA Libraries must be upgraded on all the cluster nodes.
How to Upgrade EPA Libraries on a NetScaler Gateway Appliance
Before you upgrade the EPA libraries you must have the upgrade files (tar zip format) uploaded on your local machine or on the NetScaler Gateway appliance.
Perform the following steps on the Citrix Gateway GUI to upgrade the EPA libraries:
1. Navigate to Configuration > Citrix Gateway > Upgrade EPA Libraries or EPA/VPN plugins.
2. From the Choose File drop-down menu, select the source for the upgrade file (local or appliance).
3. Navigate to the file to select the file and click Upgrade. Upon successful upgrade, the following screen appears:
