Download UniconOS (eLux) packaging tool epkg
Release Date: Jun 10, 2026The UniconOS, formerly eLux, packaging tool epkg enables advanced users and technology partners with Linux developer skills to extend the functionality of UniconOS by creating customized UniconOS packages.
The resulting packages can be inserted into an UniconOS image definition file (*.idf) with ELIAS and installed on the UniconOS devices using the modular update mechanisms.
It assumes knowledge of
- Operation of network and communication hardware
- Using and administrating Linux operating systems
- Using and administrating UniconOS
- Creating firmware images with ELIAS
The epkg binary is distributed as part of a Docker image, which is expected to be run on Ubuntu 22.04 using the docker.io package version 24.0.5.
