This new capability, offered for both Windows and macOS users, enables a user to initiate an e-signature workflow straight from their Citrix Files on their computer, without opening a web application to send for signature. Citrix ShareFile users can now streamline their agreement processes no matter where they choose to work with just few simple clicks.

Sending documents for signature right from your computer’s files not only speeds up processes, but also allows ShareFile users to send agreements as they would in their ShareFile web application.

This new Send for Signature capability is available through Citrix Files for Windows for RightSignature enabled accounts. To use it, you must either:
- Ensure your Citrix Files for Windows is the latest version for users who already use Citrix Files
- Download Citrix Files for Windows

Using Citrix Files to Send for Signature
A user can send four file types for signature: .PDF, .DOCX, .RTF, .TXT. To initiate a signature workflow with Citrix Files, follow these three simple steps:
- Navigate to your ‘Citrix Files’ folder on your desktop or from your toolbar/menu bar
- Locate the file you wish to send for signature
- Simplify right click on the file you wish you send and select ‘Send for Signature’
After these steps, you’ll be prompted to prepare the document as usual through RightSignature.
