Advantages of Citrix over VMware Horizon
Citrix offers better hybrid options, has no vendor lock in, streamlines your environment management, and features better remote protocol with HDX. Over the past couple of years, we heard from you that not everything in your environment will move to the cloud. Lastly, Citrix HDX is the industry leading remote protocol, which delivers high quality audio, video, and graphics to users on any device. VMware’s Blast protocol can’t deliver the same high frame rate as HDX, and it has a much higher CPU consumption which decreases user density on shared virtual desktops and increases resource consumption. Not only does Citrix deliver a better user experience, but it can do so without increasing your resource consumption.
