Citrix Analytics now provides product usage information for Citrix Content Collaboration, microapps, and SaaS and web apps.
Joe Friday, the fictional American TV detective from long ago, used the catchphrase “Just the facts, ma’am” to implore witnesses to provide just the essential details in their statements. Similarly, data from the newly released Citrix Analytics – Usage will cut straight to the facts with basic product usage information displayed in easy-to-consume graphs and visuals.
Currently in Technical Preview, Citrix Analytics – Usage will help customers better understand adoption and usage of Citrix services including Citrix Content Collaboration, microapps, and SaaS and web apps (via Citrix Secure Workspace Access). Some user metrics included are active users and top users. Product usage metrics include top domains accessed, top applications used, and data upload/download volume.
Delivered at no charge to customers who are entitled on supported offerings, these usage analytics are accessed from Citrix Analytics. Choose “Get Started” on the Usage tile, turn on data processing for your products, and you’re all set. Citrix Analytics – Usage falls under the umbrella of Citrix Analytics – Fundamentals. As we move forward, you might see other essential data added under this term.
Consolidating and simplifying the display of some of this core information into a single location is intended to help customers understand usage of the Citrix products and their core capabilities. For example, a summary of top users by upload and download volume is available for Citrix Content Collaboration customers.
