How the Program Works (and How You Can Participate)
With the Tech Preview program, you’ll be able to use features that haven’t been released publicly and be an important part of the app’s development. The features could become available to the public in the future based on your testing and feedback. Refer to our previous blog on the future of Citrix Workspace app for Chrome to learn more about the strategic direction for Citrix on Chrome devices.
The preview build will be available on the Citrix Workspace app Tech Preview page. After we’ve gathered feedback and implemented changes, we’ll upload that build to the Citrix Workspace app download site. We recommend that you use the preview build in your testing environment and send us your feedback.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I have both the Tech Preview version of Citrix Workspace app for Chrome and a regular version?
You can have both versions of the Workspace app for Chrome installed on your Chrome device. We recommend that you test the Tech Preview build in your staging/test environment.
As shown in the screenshot below, you can have both the Citrix Workspace app TechPreview and Citrix Workspace installed on the same device.
Will I lose any data if I switch to the Tech Preview version?
Using the preview build is like using a new app. Data or setting from the official Citrix Workspace app for Chrome cannot be moved or applied to Tech Preview app automatically.
How often will I receive Tech Preview updates?
We first release a build as a Tech Preview build and later make the build public. We plan on releasing the beta build every two weeks. Citrix reserves the right to determine when to share a Tech Preview.
Do I need additional settings to use the Tech Preview version of Citrix Workspace app for Chrome?
If you are an on-prem customer, you do need to configure additional settings to leverage the tech preview. If you are a Citrix Workspace/cloud platform customer, the Tech Preview build is already whitelisted for you. Learn more about whitelisting the Tech Preview build here.

Can I find the Tech Preview build on Google Chrome Store?
You can only access the Tech Preview build using this location on the Google Chrome Store.
The Tech Preview build and the official location for Citrix Workspace app for Chrome are separate on the Google Chrome Store. You cannot seamlessly upgrade from Tech Preview build to the official build. Workspace app for Chrome is available for all Chrome devices. You are eligible for this Tech Preview program if you’re using Chrome endpoints.
