Let’s dive a little deeper into Converge and how it works.

Keynote Sessions

The best way to start Converge is with the conference keynote. You’ll find it on the main Converge Event Overview page. Our featured keynote speaker Stephen O’Grady, co-founder of the renowned developer research firm RedMonk, explains the importance of developers as the world moves from on-premise products to cloud services. Backin up Stephen, Steve Wilson, executive sponsor of Converge, Sonny Chhen, developer evangelist manager, and I explain why we created Converge and how the event works.

Virtual Coffee Breaks

Our virtual coffee breaks allow you to get online live with ten of the most senior executives in Citrix’ product management and engineering organizations (all times Pacific Standard Time):

  • Jeroen van Rotterdam, Citrix EVP of Engineering: Nov. 2, 7:30 a.m.
  • Chalan Aras, Citrix VP of Product Management for SD-WAN, cloud networks, access security and Internet Traffic Management: Nov. 3, 9:00 a.m.
  • David Le Strat, Citrix VP for Citrix Workspace Experience and Services, and Content Collaboration: Nov. 4, 10:00 a.m.

This is your opportunity to ask our executives anything Citrix related. Be aware, though, that not all questions have an answer! Virtual coffee breaks are GotoWebinar sessions; sign up using the links in the “Everything You Need to Know” email you received from developers@citrix.com. You’ll be able to ask your question verbally, if you connect with a microphone, or textually via the question box.

Feedback Sessions

Give us your feedback in these two live sessions, also presented via GotoWebinar. “Feedback on the Citrix Developer Journey” is scheduled on Tuesday, Nov. 3, at 8:00 a.m. (PST). Matthew Geary, Citrix Product Design Research Manager wants to hear your experiences as a Citrix developer — the good, the bad, and, hopefully, not too much of the ugly.

Let us know how Converge went for you in the “Converge Feedback Live Rap Session”, on Friday Nov. 13 at 9:30 a.m. (PST). What did you enjoy? What could we do better next time?

As with the virtual coffee breaks, the feedback sessions are hosted on GotoWebinar.

Learning Journeys

Learn how to build a microapp, or get started with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops APIs! These sessions are hands-on workshops that help you get to grips with Citrix technologies. You’ll find the learning journeys near the top of the App Creation and Collaboration and Apps and Desktops Virtualization track pages.

Breakout Sessions

Thanks to our 79 speakers from Citrix, our partners, and our customers, we have 55 prerecorded breakout sessions for you to enjoy on-demand over next two weeks and beyond. Breakouts are listed on the track pages — just click to view the recording, then click “full screen” for the full cinematic effect.

Each breakout has a scheduled question and answer session, where the speaker(s) will be live online on Slack to answer your questions. Click the link in the “Everything You Need to Know” email to get access to the Citrix Converge Slack workspace. Each breakout’s listing includes an “add to calendar” button and a link to the relevant Slack channel for maximum convenience.

Guided Meditation

Citrix Thrive leader and meditation and mindfulness teacher, Monica Gonzalez, has recorded a 15-minute guided meditation to help you unwind and relax, any time you like. You’ll find it near the bottom of the Coffee Breaks and Feedback page.
