The Citrix Workspace Summit underscored that remote work is here to stay, and that employee experience, in turn, matters more now than ever. The event provided numerous ways for attendees to learn how a digital workspace empowers people to work easily and securely from anywhere. This blog post digs into the Citrix Workspace platform and its array of capabilities designed to make the workspace extensible, customizable, and personalized. It also highlights our collaboration with business service providers, global system integrators (GSIs), and channel partners and the innovation they’re bringing to Citrix Workspace.

I’m going to use that as a jumping off point to demonstrate how Citrix Ready partners, like A2K, Fujitsu, Microsoft, Wipro, Upwork, Zoho and many others are helping to power the success of Citrix Workspace. Our ecosystem is larger, more diverse and more innovative that at any point in our company’s history. Let’s take a closer look.

Citrix Workspace Microapp Integrations

The Citrix Ready microapp catalog continues to grow with integrations by partners across the spectrum of GSI, ISV, and channel partners.

A2K Partners built a Slack integration so you can eliminate distractions, cut through the noise, and free yourself from the deluge of Slack messages so you can be more focused and productive doing the things that really matter.

Fujitsu RunMyProcess includes integrations to the RunMyProcess Digital Suite and additional microapps for incident and inventory management. The offerings make it easier to share expertise, resources, and assets among a virtual workforce, accelerating value creation.

Upwork enables organizations to securely find, onboard and manage talent using Citrix Workspace. Upwork’s microapps let you post a job and keeps you up-to-date on your job listings and project proposals.

Zoho created its own integration to Zoho CRM and built eight microapps to help customers quickly create or update an account, contact or lead and/or add deal information, all directly through Citrix Workspace.

Zuryc built a microapp integration to their PlanFacts suite of financial planning tools and includes a microapp for their Roth Conversion Tool.

Citrix Workspace and Remote Work

Flexxible IT lets IT departments analyze, transform, and deploy difficult-to-virtualize apps, as well as automate, monitor, and manage multi-cloud virtual workspaces. Learn how, together, we helped the National Health Service (NHS) optimize IT operations to support COVID-19 emergency plans.

Goliath Technologies is purpose-built to monitor and troubleshoot the entire datacenter and infrastructure, including Citrix Workspace, so IT can proactively anticipate, troubleshoot, and document performance issues, regardless of where users or workloads are located. See how we helped Penn National Insurance very quickly adapt to support a remote workforce.

NVIDIA virtual GPUs with Citrix can provide continuous, secure access to an ever-growing remote workforce with a user experience that rivals a native workstation without the need to build out an extensive infrastructure.

When it comes to remote work, the Citrix Ready ecosystem extends to endpoint providers (HP, IGEL and Stratodesk), security partners (Bitdefender, Guardicore, Okta and Yubico), monitoring solutions (ControlUp, eG Innovations, and Liquidware), and unified communications partners (BlueJeans, Connectify, Cisco, RingCentral, Star2Star, and Zoom). Check out this blog post to learn more about these partners and their solutions.

Optimized Unified Communications Solutions:

Citrix is committed to continuing to deliver WebRTC redirection technologies and browser content redirection (BCR) for the web-based apps that require WebRTC capabilities. We know that true innovation is driven by real-time collaboration. It’s how employees remain productive and business gets done. In addition to the optimization packs for Microsoft Teams  and Zoom, we’ve added these Citrix Ready solutions:

  • Amazon Connect: Provides a seamless experience across voice and chat for users. It includes one set of tools for skills-based routing, powerful real-time and historical analytics, intuitive management tools, and simplified contact center operations.
  • Star2Star Video Meetings: Allows you to join a meeting directly from your Citrix Virtual Desktop, through a browser-based solution that is as simple as clicking a meeting web link on your desktop, mobile, or tablet device.

Thin Clients Integrated for Unified Communications:

With demand for unified communications continuing to grow, endpoint vendors are integrating communications and collaboration tools across Linux and Windows-based zero and thin clients.

  • IGEL UD3 (M350C): Versatile endpoint device offering robust performance for UC solutions, like Microsoft Teams, with the latest Citrix Workspace app client and Zoom Plugin for Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, allowing all aspects of a Zoom conference to run in the virtual environment while locally processing essential real-time communications components.
  • 10ZiG 6048qc: Flexible, powerful “workhorse” zero client that supports the optimization of Microsoft Teams or Zoom Plugin in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop environments delivering seamless audio and video quality.

We’re excited to see the Citrix Ready partner ecosystem grow and evolve as we continue to innovate around Citrix Workspace. Whether it’s microapp integrations, remote work, or unified communications, our partners are demonstrating their ability to add value to the Citrix Workspace platform. That’s good for all — especially customers who are looking to give employees the best experience so they have the freedom to do their best work, wherever they are, on any device.
