Citrix ADC is now listed as a key AWS Networking partner solution for load balancers, and Citrix is now officially an AWS Networking Competency Partner. The verification process involved creating new product functionality and building new relationships between Citrix and AWS. The end result? An awesome, high-performance product with seamless integration into the AWS ecosystem, as well as an even stronger business partnership that will benefit our customers.

As part of making Citrix ADC ready for the Networking Competency Partner solution, we added some key capabilities to the product:

  • Support for Elastic Network Adapter (ENA), which dramatically increases performance.
  • Custom CloudWatch integration to view ADC metrics within AWS dashboards.
  • AutoScale was launched to dynamically scale Citrix ADC instances in AWS based on user defined policies such as CPU or memory or throughput to match application traffic levels.
  • Conformance with AWS architectural best practices to align with AWS deployment models.

Part of the process involved sharing real customer success stories and have them published as case studies, which delivers multiple benefits:

  • Strengthens the relationship between Citrix, AWS and the customer.
  • Published case studies help other customers replicate similar success in their organization.

The Networking Competency certification opens the door for Citrix and AWS to work closely together and help more joint customers achieve their goals to have hybrid-cloud environments. The certification gives customers access to integrated products the enable them to increase their efficiency and expand their business. The Citrix-AWS partnership will continue to lead to a free flow of ideas and even more innovation.
