Like many of you with children (or if you’re just bored), the time spent playing video games in your household has probably increased quite a bit over the last few months. I’ll be the first to raise my hand and say I have, at times, chosen sanity over structure and have indulged in video game days with my cooped-up kids.

If you’re not one of us, I hope you’ve enjoyed the quiet. But if you’re like me, you’ve probably found yourself waking up with sore thumbs, ignoring the video game console’s recommendation to take a break, and, I hope, enjoying some quality time and laughs with your family.

As I’ve been breaking 40 KB blocks, navigating pipes, and fighting mushrooms and turtles with wings, I have seen on-screen terms like level up, power up and 1-up. As the video game soundtracks play incessantly in my head through the work week, I’ve realized alliances aren’t that much different from video games. The goal of any alliance is to go farther through partnership and collaboration. With Citrix’s alliances, we have developed joint solutions with leading technology companies that are focused on powering up our customers, giving their employees the experience and flexibility to provide them more time (or 1-up) and helping organizations level up in their transition to the cloud.

We have a lot of exciting alliance news planned throughout our Citrix Summit Series. While I can’t reveal what’s ahead for our Workspace and Security summits (no, there is no cheat code), I am excited to share these great Cloud Summit updates from partners who are helping us to ensure our joint customers can take their own paths to the cloud.

  • Judson Althoff, Executive Vice President, Worldwide Commercial Business at Microsoft, reinforces our strategic partnership and how our customers trust Microsoft and Citrix in how they look to empower their most important asset, their employees. As we help our customers make remote work and hybrid work a permanent part of their plans, Citrix and Microsoft understand the need to embrace infrastructure and solutions that ensure employees can access all the applications, content, and business services they need wherever and whenever work needs to get done. See Judson in conversation with Citrix Executive Vice President and CMO Tim Minahan on our Cloud Summit page.
  • Kirsten Kliphouse, President, North America, Google Cloud, joins Tim Minahan to discuss how Citrix and Google are working together to ensure customers smoothly transition to the cloud through joint integration and future planning. She shares how Google and Citrix are two best-of-breed companies that can make a difference for our customers in their journey to the cloud. Watch their fireside chat now on our Cloud Summit page.
  • Steve Shute, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Customer Success at SAP, introduces the reinvigorated SAP and Citrix partnership and explains how Citrix and SAP are bringing innovation to our customers to help them transition to an intelligent enterprise in a modern cloud world. For nearly 20 years, Citrix and SAP have collaborated on solutions to help our customers transform and run their businesses. And now we are accelerating our partnership to assist customers with their cloud journey, as organizations transition to hybrid-cloud and public cloud environments. See Steve’s presentation, with an introduction from Citrix CEO David Henshall, on our Cloud Summit page.
