Citrix and Fujitsu have collaborated since 2002. We launched our partnership the same year Time magazine named the wireless headset as one of the best inventions and a year after the very first iPod came to market (the iPhone wasn’t introduced till 2007). And Facebook wasn’t even incubated back then.

We’ve been partnering for more than 16 years, and the relationship is still going strong because both companies share a vision of “people first.” We co-create the digital transformation tools, paths, and delivery to help our customers achieve their business goals.

I am excited to kick off 2019 with Fujitsu and pleased to share that Fujitsu has been recognized with two well-deserved awards at Citrix Summit ’19 — “Most Impactful Cloud” for its major wins in EMEA and “Most Strategic Win” for a large strategic governmental customer in Japan.

In 2018, we had a number of successful digital transformation engagements with Fujitsu in multiple verticals and geographies. In this blog, I’m going to share one of the reasons Fujitsu won. It’s the story of a global utilities provider and how we worked together to help our joint customer provide a true global enterprise workspace.

The customer needed to digitally transform their employee experience and to stay ahead of their competition in the utilities market. As a responsible global brand, they wanted to take care of the their No. 1 asset — their workforce. Citrix provided the technology to improve the employee experience through a flexible, unified platform, providing choices (any device) and security through Citrix Cloud on Azure.

Fujitsu brought the capability and expertise to guide the customer, using Citrix Cloud to provide an improved user experience and to enable the customer to introduce new business applications in a matter of days instead of months, onboarding new employees on any device in a snap!

Now employees are in the driver’s seat and are no longer hindered by complex technologies. They feel empowered and, as a result, are more productive.

Shouldn’t we all expect that? Technology should make our lives easier, not more complex and cumbersome. Employee satisfaction and engagement have an impact on company’s bottom line and top line. Research by Jacob Morgan, author of The Employee Experience Advantage, shows that organizations that invested most heavily in employee experience had more than 4x the average profit and more than 2x the average revenue.

As we move into 2019, I am excited about the opportunities we will be working on together, helping more customers embrace boarder workspace possibilities as ONE TEAM.

Congratulations Team Fujitsu, and thank you for being a great partner!
