Citrix is aligning its distribution strategy in the US and Canada to its priorities to help partners win in the mid-market.
At Summit and again at Synergy, our WW VP of Partners Craig Stilwell made three commitments to you: Simplify our programs to make it easier to do business with us; enable our partners to ensure we are prepared to win together; and be our partners’ first and best partner.
To build upon that commitment, we are excited to announce that we are refocusing our US and Canada distribution program to reward our distributors for value-added activities towards our strategic goals. This program will help our partners increase velocity in their business while helping us win in the mid-market with secure workspaces, networking, and the cloud. The core of the program focuses on the enablement of our partners with dedicated people, programs and tools.
As part of this enhanced focus on distribution and partner support, we also are excited to announce that Arrow Electronics has joined the Citrix family as a new distributor for the US and Canada. As part of this new partnership, Citrix will also be enhancing its federal capabilities by signing Arrow’s wholly owned subsidiary Immix Group as an affiliate to assist our federal partners with Citrix solutions. Arrow is a leading value-added distribution partner in the US and Canada, and has deep Citrix ties and expertise. They join Ingram Micro, a long-standing Citrix distributor in the Americas for more than ten years, who has successfully taken us to where we are today.
As Kirill Tatarinov, Citrix CEO, and Craig Stilwell have stated on multiple occasions, the company will walk in the cloud in 2017 and run in the cloud in 2018 by helping our partners capitalize on the growing cloud opportunity. This opportunity represents services dollars and opens up a very important avenue for our partners to work with our key alliances– like HPE, CISCO and others – to deliver joint hybrid solutions that meet the unique needs of mid-market customers. Arrow ECS and Ingram Micro will be key in our efforts to bring both our public cloud solutions, as well as the joint hybrid cloud solutions with our alliance partners, to market.
