In the face of the COVID-19 crisis, Citrix has been focused on keeping our employees safe, empowering customers to maintain their own business operations, and assisting our communities. A large part of that has been sharing our guidance and solutions to enable remote work. Citrix has been a leader in remote work and business readiness for 30 years, and our customers and the market are turning to us to share what we’ve learned to help in this uncertain time.

I’m excited to announce that we have officially launched Remote Works: a Citrix Virtual Series to do just that.

This online series will provide a forum featuring Citrix subject matter experts (SMEs), customers, partners, and industry experts sharing a wide range of best practices for remote working and business continuity, in a range of virtual formats from webinars to podcasts.

Topics covered in this weekly series will include remote work technology, security, employee management, personal productivity, as well as insights into how to evolve for future based on the experiences of this crisis.

We kicked off the Remote Works series with our very own Chief People Officer Donna Kimmel and Chief Information Officer Meerah Rajavel sharing their experience, expertise, and lessons learned on building a successful remote work culture and why it’s more important than ever for HR and IT to partner on transforming the future of work. In this inaugural installment, they also discuss how remote work has become the “new normal,” and how companies that embrace flexible work models today will have the agility to respond quickly to crises and new business opportunities in the future.

Every Wednesday, you will see a new piece in our virtual series that will evolve with the market narrative and the shifting needs for remote work. Future installments in the Remote Works series include:

  • A webinar with Upwork, the leading online talent solution and freelancer marketplace (and a Citrix Alliance Partner) will share best practices for building a flexible and secure remote workforce;
  • A video interview with Citrix HR and change management experts Amy Haworth and Tamara McCleary on what the new face of work looks like based on intriguing results from our recent survey;
  • A webinar on a zero trust model and the need for continuous security for remote digital technology users;
  • A podcast with one of our innovation sponsorship partners;
  • A webinar with Forrester Research on the New State of Remote Access and Business Continuity Strategy; and
  • More to come.
