In partnership with the United Negro College Fund (UNCF), Citrix has developed the Citrix Scholarship Program to provide merit-based scholarships to African American undergraduate students who are, or will be, attending a UNCF member institution or historically Black college or university (HBCU), and pursuing a business, engineering, or other technical major.

The UNCF is the nation’s largest private scholarship provider to minority students.

During its 75-year existence, UNCF has raised $4.7 billion to provide operating funds for 37 member historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) and administer over 400 scholarships, fellowships, internships, mentoring initiatives, and summer enrichment programs for students at about 900 institutions.

Each year, UNCF awards over $100 million in scholarships to under-represented students to attend college and has helped more than 500,000 students earn college degrees since its founding. UNCF also provides curriculum and faculty development programs, many of which take place at member colleges.

The requirements for the Citrix Scholarship Program are:

  • Be African American and a US citizen or permanent resident.
  • Be currently classified as a graduating high school senior, or a college undergraduate freshman, sophomore, or junior.
  • Be enrolled full-time for the fall 2021 semester at any UNCF member institution or other HBCU.
  • Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Be pursuing a business, engineering, or other technical academic major.
