We’re happy to announce a new improvement to all Gmail and G Suite customers this week. Using a new framework from Podio and Google, we’re bringing the old Google Task Add-on back to life — and it now offers even better integration with your e-mail.

Set up your tasks and go.
Creating to-do lists has never been easier. Simply open your email, click the Podio Task Add-on, and your email content is automatically converted into a Podio task. You’ll be able to define your title, description, and due date. Once you hit, “create task” the details will be sent into Podio. You’ll also have the ability to create a task that’s related to an existing workspace or project item, to help provide context, ensure accuracy, and make it easy for co-workers to follow along.
What’s more, you can also automatically convert attachments into shareable links with plug-ins for Outlook and Gmail. This conversion makes it easy for your end users to securely share files and creates savings on Exchange storage costs for IT.
