We’re a little over a month away from my favorite time of year: Citrix Synergy time! You know, those three special days when inspiration blooms and innovative ideas burst with possibility. It’s beautiful, right? A vision for the future. I can’t wait to share it with you May 21-23 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Honestly, we have so much outstanding content planned for you this year that I don’t know where to start. And if you’ve peeked at the session catalog lately, maybe you’re feeling that way, too. It’s filled with exciting programs, including hands-on learning and interactive group sessions, structured and informal opportunities to connect with other attendees, and more than 75 breakouts covering a range of topics for every level of expertise. We also have two incredible Super Session speakers: Dr. Madeleine Albright, the first female U.S. Secretary of State, and Erik Weihenmayer, the first blind adventurer to summit Mount Everest. They have two completely different perspectives on leadership, and I know you’ll want to hear them both speak.

Synergy 2019 Agenda Planning Made Easy

This year is a lot to take in, quite literally, which is why we created Paths to Success — day-by-day roadmaps to the best Synergy 2019 content for your role. Your path includes all the breakouts, interactive sessions, and other programs we recommend for your focus, plus events for connecting with colleagues and insights you won’t find anywhere else.

For example, if you’re an IT leader, then you’ll want to know about the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops tech update, the latest CCA-V certification, and the 3rd annual Battle Bots competition. Or if you’re in networking, you can be among the first to take and pass the new Architecting a Citrix Networking Solution certification exam, among other things. And don’t worry: if you’re a C-level executive, or charged with moving your organization to the cloud, Paths have you covered, as well.

Also, remember that Synergy is totally customizable, so you can stick to your Path to Success as it’s designed and know you’re hitting all the can’t-miss programs for your role. Or, just use it as a guide to ensure you don’t miss anything important as you build your own unique Synergy experience from scratch. For those who prefer to go the latter route, we made the session catalog searchable by area of interest, session type, speaker type, and level of expertise, so it’s easier to zero in on the programs that match your needs. You can also find out more about featured speakers and specific content areas.

If you’re still not sure about which sessions to attend, or you’d like some confirmation that the agenda you planned meets your goals, then join me at the Navigators Reception the Monday evening before Synergy. We’ll have four information stations with Synergy alumni who can guide you to the best sessions, show you how to navigate using the Synergy Mobile app, help you join your local user group and share some insider tips. There will also be beverages and hors d’oeuvres and lots of catching up with old friends, so if you’ll be in town the night before Synergy kicks off, please join us.

A Couple of Hot Items to Consider Right Away

Before then, be sure to (a) decide which Citrix certification exam you want to take for free onsite and preregister now, and (b) schedule your half-hour Match.Geek session before these slots fill up.

Also, if you’re still on the fence about whether to come to Synergy, or have some convincing to do, then take a moment to check out the Justify Your Trip tool, which will help you build a compelling case for the programs you’d like to attend. We’d love to have you there, and I promise it will be a memorable event.
