When you add, delete, or edit a contact in Podio, it’s automatically updated in your connected app. The sync is bilateral, which means it goes two ways, so if you wanted to edit a contact in your connected app, it will automatically be updated in Podio.

The PieSync integration takes into account historical contact data to prevent duplicates. It also provides one-way syncs, such as unsubscribe syncs, which is helpful for managing email marketing campaigns sent with third-party apps.

Setup is easy

  • Authorizing Podio: First you’ll need to set up a new connection for each Podio app you want to keep in sync.

  • If/then: One of the big advantages of using Podio is the ability to customize your CRM. PieSync allows you to extend that customization with “if/then” rules that enable you to create your own workflow between apps using filters and actions. Choose how to sync according to tags, groups, etc.

  • Custom field mapping: By default, PieSync maps Podio’s standard fields to your connected app’s standard fields. However, you can also map your custom-made Podio fields.
