The updated Automated Configuration Tool is here

As organizations have expedited efforts to move to the cloud to support remote work, Citrix continues to help ease the migration to the cloud. With the recent release of the Citrix Automated Configuration Tool, customers have been able to simplify migration of their configuration from Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops on-premises to Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops service in the cloud. We are hearing powerful customer testimonials about migrating thousands of apps within a week and how easy it is now to migrate policies and other configurations by running two simple commands.

Customers are also discovering the added value of this tool in cloud for day-to-day operations, including syncing cloud sites for disaster recovery, test and production cloud site sync, and more. It’s also great to see customers leveraging the tool to simplify moving across regions, like moving from Citrix Cloud in the Americas to Citrix Cloud in the Asia Pacific region. Some have even started using the tool as a backup and recovery solution for policies, applications, icons, and more. As a result, if an admin makes inadvertent changes in the cloud service, they can always just revert back to the earlier state with a partial revert of the configuration.
