Application Delivery Management: A Public Cloud Control Plane

Two main features set the Citrix ADC and ADM products apart: pooled licensing and advanced logging framework.
- Pooled capacity is a licensing framework that comprises a common bandwidth and instance pool that is hosted on and served by Citrix ADM. From this common pool, each Citrix ADC instance in your data center, regardless of platform or form factor, checks out one instance license and the bandwidth it needs. The license file and the bandwidth are not bound to the instance. When the instance no longer requires these resources, it checks them back in to the common pool, making the resources available to other instances that need them. - Citrix ADM provides visibility into the performance and security of the app-delivery environment but is not your basic log-collection system. Logstream feeds the system from all your ADC and SD-WAN instances and is a custom-built framework used to efficiently transfer log information. Logstream data uses a strategy that sends one record instead of multiple per transaction.
