Spotlighting new ways to grow your business, boost customer value, and drive revenue with Citrix-Microsoft joint solutions.

Last week I joined 15,000 Microsoft partners and employees in Las Vegas at Microsoft’s global partner conference, Inspire. As a platinum sponsor at this year’s event, Citrix had a large booth presence where we showcased a variety of the newest Citrix/Microsoft joint solutions. The message was clear — these solutions complement one another and work better together. We also hosted a number of engaging theater sessions and executive meetings around the compelling opportunities for partners looking to expand their practices and tap into new opportunities.

It’s no secret, customers value flexibility and control in today’s cloud and mobile-first world. Many of them are up against nimble, disruptive competitors, and they are looking for better ways to innovate faster and better while minimizing risk to their legacy environments. The solutions we presented at Inspire showcase how partnering with Citrix and Microsoft helps your customers empower a cloud-enabled workforce.

Joint Solutions on Azure

Citrix Workspace makes it easy for customers to migrate their new and existing workloads to Azure, boosting adoption and consumption. For organizations looking to accelerate Azure deployments, Citrix offers a choice of cloud, hybrid cloud, and multi-cloud options. Some examples include:

The integration between CVAD service enables Citrix customers to benefit from all of the great things WVD will bring including, multi-session Windows 10 capabilities on Azure, extended security updates for Windows 7 virtual machines, plus an improved virtualized Office 365 experience.

Your customers can choose from multiple VDI deployment options for Citrix solutions on Microsoft Azure, including virtual apps, desktops, data, and networking. This offering lets them provision and deliver workloads on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform, to help reduce overall IT costs and boost efficiency. They can also deploy VDI with Citrix Cloud services on Microsoft Azure.

Joint Solutions on Office 365

We also presented several joint solutions focusing on Microsoft Office 365. This SaaS offering remains dominant, and Citrix Workspace is a powerful way to charge up its performance. Simply put, Citrix Workspace, together with Citrix Networking, delivers the best Modern Desktop. You can also help customers simplify migration to Windows 10 and enable secure mobile productivity.

Migration to Windows 10: Citrix has been working with Microsoft for over 25 years and has helped countless customers with OS and Windows 10 migrations. Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops help IT with some of the top issues they face during OS migration, including app compatibility, browser compatibility, and ongoing system management.

Office 365 Optimization with Citrix SD-WAN: Built upon our long-standing partnership with Microsoft, Citrix SD-WAN is designed to integrate with the cloud to optimize bandwidth utilization and intelligently steer traffic for the best application experience. Citrix SD-WAN has the ability to identify and classify Office 365 traffic on the first packet, then steer it to the nearest Office 365 point of entry so you can offer customers the most optimal overhead-free approach.

HDX Optimization for Microsoft Teams: As more organizations implement Office 365, which includes Microsoft Teams, our customers have been asking when Citrix would optimize Microsoft Teams for virtual environments.
