Citrix is proud to announce that the Citrix Application Delivery Controller (ADC) VPX is now FIPS 140-2 Level 1 certified (Certificate #3732) by the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). But wait, there’s more. You can now experience seamless application delivery with Citrix ADC VPX FIPS on Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) in addition to your on-premises platforms.

FIPS is a set of standards published by the NIST to help organizations protect sensitive information on computers and telecommunication systems. FIPS is used by the U.S. and Canadian governments, financial sector, and the healthcare industry, as well as organizations that interact with these institutions to ensure secure transfer of data. More information about the FIPS 140-2 standard and validation program is available on the NIST and the Canadian Center for Cyber Security (CCCS) Cryptographic Module Validation Program (CMVP) website.

Virtual appliances give you flexibility in where and how the ADC can be deployed. Learn more about Citrix ADC and FIPS and deploying your Citrix ADC VPX FIPS. And check out our Citrix ADC FIPS Compliance/Validation FAQ for additional information.
