As you probably read in our previous blog posts, the Citrix Endpoint Management team has worked closely with Google and Samsung to deliver a great, unified digital workspace experience. Our efforts have extended Citrix Workspace to your mobile device, providing end-users with a mobile and desktop experience on a single device.
This combination of Samsung DeX, Samsung Knox, and Android Enterprise managed by Citrix Endpoint Management enables admins to easily deliver an excellent Workspace experience that prioritizes privacy and ensures that corporate data stays safe and secure without compromising the end-user experience.
Admins can set up work profiles on an Android device to separate work apps and data from personal and corporate data. With a work profile, you can securely and privately use the same device for work and personal purposes. Citrix Endpoint Management manages your work apps and data while your personal apps, data, and usage remain private. Citrix Workspace can then deliver virtualized and managed applications by keeping data managed and secured with Citrix Endpoint Management.
But what about the desktop experience?
Here is where Samsung DeX and Samsung Knox come in. Samsung DeX is a platform built into the latest Galaxy phones and tablets, empowering end users to power a desktop-like experience on an external display. Built for workforce productivity, the Citrix Workspace app with DeX enables you to use mobile devices in place of traditional desktop PCs and laptops, simplifying workflows and reducing IT costs. Samsung Knox is a defense-grade enterprise mobile security solution to enable hardware- and software-level security on your mobile device.
