These are just a few of the best practices I’ve spoken about when discussing VDI. But what happens when I move from VDI to DaaS?
Before we go any further, do we understand how VDI and DaaS differ? Here’s the simplest explanation I can come up with:
- VDI: Virtual desktops hosted within an on-prem data center
- DaaS: Virtual desktops hosted within a cloud
So, the main difference between the two is the virtual desktop’s hosting location. Does hosting location really matter with regards to best practices?
