XenServer is now an entitlement of the Citrix for Private Cloud, Citrix Universal^™ Hybrid Multi Cloud, and Citrix Platform License subscriptions for running your workloads.

Citrix customers that have not yet transitioned to these new subscriptions can use cloud licensing to run XenServer without requesting a trial or promotional licenses. Cloud licensing provides immediate access and simplifies entitlement management, aligning XenServer usage with your existing Citrix subscription model.

Cloud licenses automatically align with the term of your active Citrix subscription. For example, if you have 1 year and 5 months remaining on your subscription, your XenServer cloud licensing remains valid for the same duration. If you renew or extend your subscription, your XenServer cloud entitlements continue seamlessly for the new term, eliminating the need for reapplication or manual license updates.
