In many ways, the shift to fully remote work at the dawn of the pandemic created a more level playing field. Zoom meetings, for example, have helped upend traditional power dynamics by giving everyone equal space on the screen. But as hybrid work becomes the norm, new concerns about inequality are surfacing.
