Citrix in the Leaders Quadrant of the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Enterprise File Synchronization and Sharing
Evaluation Based on Completeness of Vision and Ability to Execute
SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Today, Citrix announced it has been positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the “Leaders” quadrant in the July 2016 “Magic Quadrant for Enterprise File Synchronization and Sharing (EFSS) Market” for the third consecutive year.
ShareFile is a secure enterprise file synch and share solution that supports hybrid architectures — that is, synchronization and sharing functions are provided as a service, while corporate files can be kept either in the ShareFile cloud repository, on third-party clouds or on-premises (through Citrix ShareFile StorageZones). ShareFile is sold as a stand-alone product and as an entitlement of other Citrix suites, including Citrix XenMobile (for enterprise mobility management [EMM]), Citrix Workspace Suite (for end user computing, EMM and file sharing) and Citrix Cloud (desktops, virtual apps, mobility management and file sharing as a service, through partnerships with web platform providers). ShareFile and Podio constitute the core pillars of Citrix's enterprise collaboration offering.
