Citrix Systems Named to CRN’s 2012 5-Star Partner Program Guide

Annual guide and 5-Star designation identifies the IT channel’s most vendor partner programs

Santa Clara, CA - Citrix Systems today announced it has been named to CRN’s 2012 Partner Programs Guide and that it’s Citrix® Solution Provider program was awarded a 5-Star Cloud Vendors partner rating. The 2012 CRN Partner Program Guide and CRN 5-Star Rating is the definitive listing of manufacturers and software publishers that service solution providers or provide products to the IT Channel. CRN’s Partner Program Guide recognizes those vendors who have channel programs and derive a portion of their sales through the indirect IT Channel.

The award-winning Citrix Solution Advisor program allows channel partners to engage with Citrix to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction in virtualization, networking, and collaboration and cloud technologies through the Citrix portfo¬lio of products. The Citrix Solution Provider program is designed to enable partners to grow their business more profit¬ably while allowing them to focus on their role as a trusted Citrix advisor to our mutual customers.

Partners who become Citrix Solution Advisors rapidly grow their businesses – and their reputation for innovation – in the dynamic and lucrative virtual computing market space. As a Solution Advisor, partners work side-by-side with customers to plan, design, implement and maintain Citrix virtualization, networking and cloud solutions. Citrix provides a wide range of marketing, sales and technology tools to build partners’ technical and sales expertise, win a larger share of the market and surpass the competition.

In building the list, UBM Channel Research developed a methodology in which vendors are assessed on information provided in their completed applications. The objective criteria takes into account each vendor’s investments in program offerings, partner profitability, partner training, education and support, marketing programs and resources, sales support and communication.

The 2012 Partner Programs Guide and 5-Star Partners listing will be featured on CRN.com and in the March 2012 issue of CRN.
