SMB IT Leaders are getting smart with budgets to achieve their biggest tech priorities (SMB Pulse)

Pulse and Citrix surveyed SMB leaders to learn about the IT and tech spending priorities in these businesses and how they vary between industries, plus whether or not they have the right vendors to succeed.

In the next 12 months, IT leaders at small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) are making it a priority to improve security, modernize IT, and enable remote work. To meet these goals, 77% of SMB IT leaders are working with only 1-20% of their overall tech budget, which means they need to be creative about where they invest. Despite their unique challenges and limitations, SMB IT leaders are making the most out of what they have.

However, an overall look at SMB priorities doesn't give the whole story for this diverse set of businesses. The priorities and goals at SMBs, and the budgets and vendors they have access to, can vary significantly depending on industry.
