There are just 20 people worldwide who are awarded Microsoft MVP for Remote Desktop Services and even less of those who hold both Microsoft MVP and Citrix CTP awards. Originally an astronomer by vocation and one of the early users of CCD technology for imaging space objects, major interests have long included image processing and data analysis along with programming and systems and application administration. Since 1994, a full-time employee in the IT department of Northern Arizona University (30k students, 4.5k faculty/staff) primarily involved in the academic area, and a Team Lead / Senior Programmer since 1998 as well as adjunct faculty in astronomy since 1988.
