A datacenter. Datacenters in App Orchestration are defined by networking:

Datacenters can have lower bandwidth between them than what is available within a datacenter.
Datacenters can have higher latency between them than what is available within a datacenter.
Datacenters can have occasional network outages between them.

Datacenters typically map to geographical locations.
