Citrix Week: Absorb change without disrupting the work
Flexible consumption, a more connected platform, and support you can count on to help you build an adaptive enterprise.
AI didn't wait for anyone's strategy. It's already showing up in the tools employees choose, the applications you run, and the agents starting to act on your behalf. And it's arriving alongside everything else: mergers and acquisitions, new regulations, security pressure, and seasonal swings. None of it waits its turn.
You’re being asked to move faster while spending smarter. At the same time, your customers expect service, and your employees need reliable access to the applications that keep the business running.
That is why the adaptive enterprise matters. An adaptive enterprise is built to absorb change without disrupting the work the business depends on, and without rebuilding what already works. The advantage comes from being ready to act when conditions change, with choices that let you move on your terms.
During Citrix Week, our product announcements, executive perspectives, and technical demos will show how we can help you build an adaptive enterprise.
Put AI to work with control
At the recent WSJ Technology Council Summit in New York, I joined other enterprise leaders to discuss what AI is really doing inside their organizations. AI is already in employee workflows, embedded in familiar applications, and running through agents that act across business processes. Used well, it can help researchers work through information faster or give employees better access to institutional knowledge. Understanding that activity is essential to deciding where AI can create value and what needs to be governed.
I believe in starting with visibility before transformation. When I talk with customers, I call this understanding AI's reach: where it touches your data and business systems. Once you can see that, you can decide where to automate, where to tighten controls, and where a process needs to change.
Access, governance, control, and visibility make it possible to move forward responsibly. You need to decide what a person or agent can access, see what they are doing, establish who is accountable, and enforce limits on what they can do. People and AI agents should come through the same well-governed front door. Agents should get only the access a task requires, and you need to decide when a person should approve an action before it happens.
That means keeping choice across AI models and platforms, too. A business may use one AI service for software development and another for customer support. Changing technology shouldn't force you to rebuild what's still creating value.
Make flexibility part of the business
If we expect our customers to stay adaptable, we have to adapt, too. That includes how you buy from us.
When you acquire a business or prepare for a seasonal peak, your technology requirements change. People may need access to different applications; demand for capacity may rise or fall, and new regulations may affect where workloads run. You need the freedom to make those adjustments while continuing to use the applications and infrastructure that already deliver value.
Flexible consumption should make it easier for you to buy, adopt, and use the capabilities you need as your business changes. You need a clear view of what you’re spending and a practical way to adjust capacity as demand rises or falls. That flexibility matters beyond the initial purchase, helping you match your investment to new requirements and get value from the platform over time. Tomorrow, we’ll share more about how we’re making that experience simpler.
Your Citrix team and partners will continue to help you choose and adopt the capabilities that fit your business, including Citrix Platform Flex.
Making our technology easier to use also means making our products work better together as one platform. The goal is a consistent experience for the people using the technology and the teams responsible for managing it, with less complexity as you add capabilities. We’re pursuing that goal while preserving choice across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments, so you can keep building on the applications and infrastructure you already run.
See the capabilities in action
Each day’s articles and technical demonstrations will connect the announcements to practical questions in your business:
- Tuesday: Citrix Platform Credits. We’ll introduce a more flexible way to buy Citrix software and services, whether you manage your own environment or use managed services.
- Wednesday: Citrix SecurAccess. We’ll explore identity and governance for AI agents, including how to hold an agent accountable for its actions.
- Thursday: Citrix SecurSpaces. We’ll talk about how we are expanding to support secure workspaces for agentic access, extending beyond developer use cases to other personas.
- Friday: Session Insights. We’ll show how visibility into work can help you identify opportunities for operational improvement, not just security
We’ll distinguish what you can use today from what’s on the roadmap so you can plan your next step.
What you should expect from Citrix
For nearly 40 years, Citrix has helped organizations through every major shift in enterprise computing: client-server, virtualization, mobility, cloud, and hybrid. Each one changed how work was delivered. The need underneath it stayed the same: people needed secure, reliable access to the applications that keep the business running. Now that need extends to AI agents.
When you're introducing something new or solving a problem, you'll work with people who understand what your business needs to accomplish, and who help your IT teams make progress, not just close tickets.
You have choices, and we have to keep earning your business. The value we deliver should be clear in your everyday work: secure, reliable access to the applications your people need, simpler management for IT, and the flexibility to adapt as your needs change.
Use this week to pick one application or workflow you want to protect or improve, then talk with your Citrix team or partner about where to start.
We’re here to help you adapt with confidence and Secure the Work through the changes still to come.
