Organizations everywhere are accelerating their IT modernization, working to remove complexity and to increase flexibility and control. They’re shifting infrastructure to hybrid environments, moving apps to the cloud, and consolidating access and app delivery and security solutions, all while looking to reduce costs.

During our Citrix Launchpad: Cloud session, we covered groundbreaking advances in app delivery and security; innovations in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops; new ways we’re adding value to the services of leading cloud providers; and work we’re doing with partners to help organizations manage and simplify their hybrid multi-cloud journeys and with leading cloud providers to add value to their services.

Here are highlights from the session and links where you can learn more.

Citrix App Delivery and Security Service

Our new Citrix App Delivery and Security Service is the industry’s first intent-driven solution for app delivery and security. It delivers self-healing and continuous optimization to ensure the best possible app experience. IT admins just define the intent or KPI and services translates that to policies, and policies into automated configurations. It radically simplifies the application delivery with unmatched automation, end-to-end visibility, continuous optimization, and self-healing capabilities.

It is the industry’s first app delivery service that has actionable internet visibility thanks to Citrix Intelligent Traffic Management (ITM) technology integration. It offers near real-time internet state visibility through the collation and analysis of 10 billion data points a day from 1 billion real users across 50,000 networks in 200+ countries. It helps you plan, design and optimize your app delivery with internet state visibility.

Citrix DaaS Innovations

We’ve delivered on some great new capabilities for Citrix DaaS this year.

  • Service continuity enables users to stay up and running as long as they have a path to connect to their virtual apps and desktops, even if they can’t connect to our cloud service.
  • We’ve extended Citrix Provisioning Services to Azure (and soon to Google Cloud), helping customers transition all their desktops and apps to the cloud at scale.
  • Citrix Image Portability gives customers a powerful new way to manage, update, and deploy a set of images from one location across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
  • We’re now providing support for Azure VMware Solution so you can easily manage and provision Citrix workloads between on-prem vSphere deployments or within VMware-based clouds.
  • We’ve integrated Citrix DaaS with ServiceNow’s Virtual Agent, enabling customers to automate resolution of common virtual session resets and removing the need for manual IT support and intervention.
