Citrix Endpoint Management is ready for Day 0 support of Android 12
The release of Android 12 is right around the corner. But there’s no need to worry. Citrix Endpoint Management is ready to support this new OS version on Day 0.
Here are the client and server versions that support Android 12:
- Cloud CEM server: 21.8.0
- Secure Hub: 7.1 is the minimum version required for devices upgrading to Android 12, while 21.8.5 is the minimum version required for new Android 12 devices enrolling in Citrix Endpoint Management. We strongly recommend that you’re on the latest version of the client before updating to Android 12.
- Secure Mail and Secure Web: 8.5
- Legacy on-prem server: 14
- Legacy MDX Toolkit: 8.5. Please note, this is the final release of the MDX toolkit, and the recommendation is to move apps to integrate with MAM SDK.
IT admins can always leverage the Control OS Update for Android Enterprise to postpone updates to Android 12 if required on fully managed devices. Legacy Device Admin mode is no longer support starting with Android 10. Please transition to Android Enterprise.
With our Day 0 support, admins can now support corporate and BYO devices on Android 12. Just make sure you’re on one of the client or server versions listed above!
