As more people than ever are working remotely, help desk calls are sharply increasing with home-bound employees needing assistance. Supporting these workers is a critical part of any effective remote work strategy.

To help all the busy support teams out there, we’ve developed a new course — CWS-115: Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 7 Help Desk Support. This two-day classroom or virtual instructor-led training (with the eLearning version coming soon) will teach you the fundamentals of supporting end users who are connecting to Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops through the Citrix Workspace app.

Our curriculum is based on the latest long-term service release (LTSR) of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops and is designed for help desk/service desk managers and representatives.

Topics include:

  • Deploying and supporting the Citrix Workspace app on premises or in the cloud
  • Troubleshooting user access issues
  • Using Citrix Director to interact with user sessions and capture information for issue resolution or escalation
  • Understanding user sessions, including profiles
  • Resolving printing problems

Train Your Entire Team

To get everyone on the same page at the same time, consider group training. We can customize the course content to fit your needs. Group training is delivered by an expert Citrix Certified Instructor (CCI) on site or through a live virtual experience.

Once you have completed the CWS-115 course, you may want to take the next step — Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops administration. Our CWS-215 course provides the foundational knowledge and skills needed to install, configure, and manage a Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 7 environment and migrate from an on-premises solution to Citrix Cloud.
