Earlier this morning at SAP TechEd in Las Vegas, Juergen Mueller, Chief Technology Officer at SAP, announced a restricted beta version of SAP Graph, which will help developers to quickly build extensions across the application suite of SAP’s Intelligent Enterprise framework.

Citrix was pleased to be included in today’s keynote address, where we were featured as an SAP “Co-Innovation” partner during the SAP Graph product announcement. Citrix VP of Product Management Steve Wilson was joined by Jan Schaffner, Head of Central Engineering at SAP, live on the show floor to discuss our partnership and demo the newest planned Citrix with SAP solution offering.

Wilson announced that Citrix will integrate SAP Graph into Citrix Workspace to provide unified, secure access to applications across the SAP intelligent suite, further deepening our product and solution partnership with SAP. The SAP Graph integration adds support for SAP systems like SAP Sales Cloud to Citrix’s existing plan to introduce Citrix Workspace connectors with SAP Ariba, Concur, and SuccessFactors, as announced at Citrix Synergy 2019. Extending SAP services within the context of Citrix Workspace now enables our customers to gain insights within the context of one comprehensive workflow so people can focus fully on their work.

SAP is one of the world’s leading enterprise software companies. In order to provide the highest level of service to our joint customers, it is vital to have tight integrations with SAP’s entire suite of applications, from SAP Ariba to SAP Sales Cloud. Citrix Workspace simplifies and improves the productivity of employees while SAP Graph simplifies the workspace admin’s life by enabling them to set up SAP Graph once and allow developers to build microapps to the entire suite of apps. Together Citrix Workspace with SAP Graph will save time and allow developers to build workflows that tie more systems together.

“SAP is pleased that Citrix is a co-innovation partner with SAP Graph,” said Jan Schaffner, Head of Central Engineering at SAP. “The integration of SAP Graph into Citrix Workspace will enable enterprise customers to experience unified and secure access to applications across the intelligent suite.”

With most virtualized SAP enterprise workloads running on Citrix, this alignment and integration of Citrix Workspace across the intelligent suite offerings is exciting news for customers and resellers looking to deploy Citrix Workspace with SAP across any hybrid-cloud deployment. Citrix Workspace becomes the one-stop shop to access and integrate all your SAP apps and workflows.

In addition, since Citrix Workspace makes it simple to add new connectors and build microapps, the SAP Graph with Citrix Workspace TechEd demo was quickly developed without the painstaking work of locating and navigating an expanding ecosystem of APIs.

And plan to join Jan Schaffner and Citrix Product Management Director Omar ElNaggar for a “Lightning Talk Session” on Thursday, September 26, from 3:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. in Show Floor Theatre 3.

Customers and developers are encouraged to learn more about the Citrix Workspace intelligent experience, explore new use cases, and view the latest resources and updates.
