The Future of App and Desktop Virtualization in Azure

Microsoft is redefining the desktop and application virtualization landscape with Azure Virtual Desktop. Our joint customers will no longer have to choose between a server or desktop operating system to provide high-density app and desktop virtualization. Citrix provides our Virtual Apps and Desktops service customers with simplified tools that centrally manage both on-premises and Azure-hosted resources, giving administrators flexibility to integrate Azure Virtual Desktop resources — as well as Azure infrastructure — as needed.

As organizations accelerate their move to the cloud, Citrix will continue to offer unique capabilities for Azure Virtual Desktop that expedite the migration to Azure and deployment of Windows virtual apps and desktops at scale, enhance remote and branch office connectivity, and streamline your corporate digital workspace strategy. Together with Microsoft, Citrix can accelerate your cloud initiatives and help your IT team make the most of these new deployment options.
