Real-time Android location services for Citrix Endpoint Management
Concerned about misplacing corporate devices or having a corporate device stolen? Have a business requirement to consistently track devices for security or logistics reasons? Take advantage of device tracking enabled by Citrix Endpoint Management (CEM), now supported for Android devices.
When users enable permissions for Secure Hub 19.7.5+ to leverage Android Location Services, CEM administrators have the option to either create a policy involving a group of user devices or enable it on-demand for one device based on business needs.
Our new Android Tracking policy can be configured to poll a devices location at a specific interval (minimum of 15 minutes) based upon your business needs.
This feature can support a great deal of use cases to assist with your EMM journey, including:
- Tracking delivery personnel for more accurate delivery estimates
- Tracking for misplaced or stolen devices
- Tracking for security personnel
- Enforcing geographic boundaries
