GameOn! @ Citrix Synergy 2019
The Citrix Events Mobile App is a terrific tool for navigating Citrix Synergy 2019. In addition to planning your schedule and networking with fellow attendees, it includes GameOn! — a mobile gamification experience designed to increase your level of participation at Synergy. Think of GameOn! like your conference Fitbit: a tracker and motivational tool that acknowledges when you attend sessions and event functions and complete skilled actions.
One of the ways GameOn! motivates is its point system and by awarding achievement badges that appear in your mobile app game interface when you complete an activity. Then there’s the leaderboard ranking system that displays the relative standing of all players with their scores among other attendees and shows their unlocked badges. You can keep track in your mobile app or at one of the many leaderboard displays around the event.
Prizes and a Free Trip to Synergy 2020
To further motivate you, we’re giving away a trip to Citrix Synergy 2020 to the attendee who both unlocks the most qualified badges and has the most points. This grand prize includes a full conference pass, round-trip airfare, and up to five nights’ hotel stay in Orlando. In the event of a tie, a drawing will be held to determine the grand prize winner and the winners of remaining prizes.
There will also be daily random drawings of cool prizes from GameOn! sponsors (Dell, Flexxible IT, Forward Networks, Google Chrome Enterprise, HPE, IGEL, Ivanti, Lakeside Software, LRS, Numercent, Nutanix, Pivot3, Samsung, Stratodesk, ThinPrint, Veridum and VMWare).
Signing up is easy! Customers and partners with a full conference pass are automatically entered into the game when logging in to the Synergy Mobile app for the first time. Citrix employees, Solutions Expo pass holders, vendors, and guests are not eligible to participate.
The GameOn! contest runs from 8:00 a.m. on Monday, May 20, to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 23. You can view terms and conditions by clicking Rules in the GameOn! section of the app.
How to Get GameOn! Points
- Use your event mobile app to scan QR code at participating functions
- Use your conference badge to scan lead retrieval devices
- Complete session surveys you have attended; they’ll appear in the Feedback section of the event mobile app
- Correctly answer trivia questions added in the mobile app
- Complete your attendee profile
