You know the drill: when it comes to learning the skills and strategies to succeed, there’s no better place for our partners to get started with a successful 2018. And you’ve heard us remind you over and over about the ROI you get from all the technical demos, comprehensive hands-on labs, marketing know-how, and much more.

It’s true: Citrix Summit 2018 is coming to sunny, beautiful Anaheim, California, Jan 8–9, 2018 and it’s time to save the date!

Beyond saving the date, I want to announce one very SPECIAL OFFER that you cannot refuse. From today until September 22, Super Early Bird registration for Summit is only $495. After that, early bird registration will be $695 (until November 30), and $795/$895 for alumni/non-alumni until the event.

So, now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, let’s talk about the REAL reason so many partners are returning.

Plain and simple: Citrix Summit is AWESOME

What were your favorite “best of” moments from Summit 2017? Maybe it was meeting a new business partner or sharing a drink with a friend — or even shedding a tear during a Bert Jacobs’ inspiring keynote. I know firsthand that the connections made and experiences shared at Summit help build a rich business network with partners, customers, and Citrites from across the globe. What better reason to travel the world, be inspired, and make new memories?

One thing is certain: If you were a little jetlagged from your flight then I’m sure you remember the first electrifying drumbeats of Recycled Percussion that brought all of us to the edges of our seats faster than the strongest cup of coffee.

That ‘wow’ effect—it’s what makes the Summit experience so unforgettable. From the Vision Keynotes all the way to the Partner Appreciation party, there were hundreds of moments that brought more than 4,000 partners from over 70 countries together as a tight-knit community. You can probably say that Citrix Summit is our own family reunion.

Were you in the room as Citrix leaders showed us their vision for 2017? In my opinion (and plenty of you agreed), there’s nothing like standing on the front lines with senior leadership and being the first to hear about new products, programs, acquisitions and incentives. Even bigger than that was walking out of that room feeling a sense of shared core values that differentiate Citrix—and connect us as people.

Last year, lots of people loved what they heard and we hope you will too:

Life is Good

Were you one of the lucky ones who caught one of Bert Jacobs’ Frisbees during the closing keynote? His keynote was one of the greatest moments of levity—and depth—at Citrix Summit 2017.

His lessons on optimism and corporate social responsibility demonstrated how focusing on the good in daily life can transform your mindset and your business—and take you anywhere.

Many of you were moved to tears over Lindsey’s story; many more were moved to act. The Life is Good booth was swarmed after the keynote speech, as Citrix matched the donations of our attendees. The outpouring of generosity was phenomenal and, together, we raised over $150K for the Life is Good Foundation.

Geeking out

One of the most valuable takeaways for partners? Getting quality time with 50 of the most vocal, honest and caring technical experts in the Citrix customer and partner ecosystem at the Citrix Geek Speak Theater. These Citrix Technical Professionals (CTPs) presented content that couldn’t be found anywhere else. The informal question and answer allowed memorable opportunities to talk shop and hear what was on the mind of fellow partners.

Free professional headshots weren’t too shabby either.

Serving the community

Were you one of the awesome partners who volunteered a moment at Simply Serve in the Citrix Corporate Citizenship booth? If so, you made a huge difference. With your help, we assembled over 1,000 reading and STEM kits and granted wishes to a lot of kids and schools in need. It was a fun and meaningful way to take a break from conference mode, connect with colleagues, and care about the greater good.

Another outside-the box-moment: The Diversity in Technology session on implicit bias where attendees took a deep dive into attitudes and stereotypes we hold, but may not be aware of—and how they can build or undermine teamwork.

Innovation is the name of the game

Did watching the stories of our Innovation Award finalists spark your imagination? One of the moments of Summit that really drives home the future of work in action is celebrating Citrix Partners and customers who are on the front lines reinventing IT solutions in new, unprecedented ways. Fujitsu New Zealand took the public sector by storm—and showed us that it is possible to keep critical IT functions intact even when an earthquake hits.

Dancing the night away

Tell the truth: did you wake up the morning after Summit with an extreme airbrush tattoo? Or maybe you solidified some new friendships around the outdoor fire pits, or just plain ate your heart out at the 20 food trucks and dessert trucks.

Each of you chose to relax under the market lights, the Citrix Partner Appreciation Party was one of the best ways to cap off intensive days of learning and ring in a successful new year.
