It’s been a year since we made some exciting XenMobile announcements at Citrix Synergy 2016. And this year, at Synergy 2017, we’re back with more XenMobile news!

XenMobile and Microsoft EMS

One of the announcements we made last year included our plans to deliver a solution for Microsoft EMS (Enterprise Mobility & Security) that would enhance EMS customers’ security and user productivity. This year, we’ll be demonstrating that offering – XenMobile Connector for EMS, which will be made available as a feature of XenMobile Service.

The demo will showcase key components of XenMobile Connector for EMS, such as our Citrix microVPN for secure access to corporate data. A new XenMobile Connector for EMS also delivers device management policies, such as geo-fencing, support for multiple DEP accounts, and shared devices. All of this means customers can use EMS to manage Office 365 with XenMobile as part of their secure digital workspace.

Unified Endpoint Management

At Synergy this year, we’re announcing our expanded XenMobile UEM (Unified Endpoint Management) features with support for Windows 10 WIP (Windows Information Protection), support for Azure Active Directory integration for device authentication, and numerous restrictions and MDM policies for Windows 10 and Mac OS device types.

Security and Workspace

Customers confirm that security and a more complete workspace are the top reasons they choose XenMobile over other EMM solutions. To continue to deliver security value to customers, we’re announcing the availability of XenMobile’s support for derived credentials. With derived credentials, mobile users no longer have to remember complex passcodes or use bulky smartcards.  In addition, we’ll be demonstrating recent workspace enhancements between XenMobile, XenDesktop, and XenApp with our conditional security access capabilities — Smart Access. Smart Access prevents access to any virtual app if a mobile device is found to be non-compliant.

It’s all about the Cloud

With 61% growth in XenMobile Service licenses in one quarter, it’s clear that customers are choosing the cloud to manage their mobile devices and apps. XenMobile Service is now fully integrated with Citrix Cloud and hosted in 8 regions around the world.

Customers are the Center of It All

This Synergy, we’re fortunate to have 2 of our XenMobile customers, Flextronic and Chevron Phillips Chemical share their stories about how XenMobile is helping them achieve their mobility initiatives.  Be sure to sit in on Chevron’s session (SYN 405 – Modernizing mobility in manufacturing) and check out both their videos post-Synergy on Citrix.com.
