Showcasing Our Commitment to Education by Mobilizing Learning & Teaching
October is an exciting month for me. There’s Parents’ Weekend at my son’s college, Halloween, and, last but not least, the annual EDUCAUSE Conference!
Each year, I look forward to this event, as it gives me the opportunity to hear industry thought leaders like Sugata Mitra and Susan Cain speak and to be surrounded by innovators sharing best practices from universities and colleges from all over the world.
At EDUCAUSE, I get to learn and, as part of Citrix, I get to teach. As you know, Citrix continues to invest in education. You’ll see this as we engage with EDUCAUSE 2016 attendees this year throughout the show and share how we’re transforming the education landscape.
We’ll be there to greet you as you register at the Anaheim Hilton Hotel. Browse our welcome brochure to learn about Citrix and our Citrix Ready partner demos and presentations (be sure to stop by and meet us at booth #821). And don’t miss the networking opportunities available to you throughout the week and the great prizes we’ll be raffling off. Keep reading for a sneak peek.
We’re listening intently to our customers and also looking forward to hearing feedback and new ideas from you. This year, we’ll be showcasing the kinds of solutions you said you needed to help you say “Yes” to:
- transforming the Student Experience with mobile access to data and apps
- making any space a Learning Space with secure virtual workspaces
- helping drive Continuous Learning for student success
- keeping student information, research data and IP secure and compliant.
We’re bring a full schedule of presentations in our booth this year from our IoT technology strategist, Chris Witeck, customers Texas A&M and Georgia Tech, and our Citrix Ready partners, Dell, 10ZiG Technology, AppSense, Uniprint, eG Innovations, Liquidware Labs and Bitdefender.
As your hotel host, we invite you to join us for a special reception. After a long day at the show, meet us on Wednesday, October 26th, at the Hilton Anaheim Hotel, Avalon room from 7:00-9:00 pm for cocktails and hors d’ouevres, and networking.
Citrix also will host a thought leadership panel discussion with Texas A&M and Georgia Tech about mobile strategies and best practices for today’s ever-evolving digital campus. Casey Green, Founder of Campus Computing Project will moderate the panel. It will be held on Thursday , October 27th, room 303B at the Anaheim Convention Center, from 8:00 – 8:50AM.
And don’t go home empty handed this year! Join us at any one of these engagements for daily drawings and a chance to win an Apple Watch or Microsoft Surface!
We can’t wait to see you there! Safe travels everyone!
