FINALLY, I get to share with you the hard work our team has been doing to put together an amazing catalog of breakouts and labs for Citrix Summit 2017, January 9–11 in Anaheim, California. At Summit, you will get training directly related to how you do business and we have recruited our community of Citrix Technology Professionals to help make this Summit the best one ever.

The session catalog is now live, and I hope you’re excited to explore the more than 100 unique breakouts in six different tracks. Something new this year—which we’ve done in response to your feedback—is a new nomenclature for breakouts that reflects level and content. That means it’ll be even easier for you to identify the type of session you’re attending and its level of technical complexity, thanks to a new numbering system from 100 to 400 and new prefixes, including SELL, SKLS and TECH.

TECH402 It’s all about security: Whether it’s a digital workspace, VDI, mobility, networking or cloud initiative, the number-one use case for adopting Citrix is security—one of our core strengths for decades. This session will review the many security features and components of the Citrix stack, and help you pull it all together into a clear and compelling sales story.

Focus: Microsoft partnership

SELL302 Conquering the cloud frontier: selling XenDesktop for Windows 10 on Azure: For the first time ever, Microsoft has given enterprise customers the power to deploy a Windows 10 desktop on Azure. Pair this announcement with the newly released XenDesktop for Windows 10 on Azure service now available in the Azure Marketplace, and revolutionize the ‘Migration to Windows 10’ conversation.

Focus: Vertical selling

SELL215 Selling into education: understanding key trends and business priorities: New technologies are transforming educational institutions and empowering students, teachers and staff to reach new levels of success. Navigating this important industry can be a challenge. This session will demonstrate how to help your education customers lead innovation, impact business results and improve the learning experience for students and educators.

TECH405 A technical deep dive into NetScaler Management and Analytics System for orchestrated microservices: Gain a deeper understanding of NetScaler MAS and NetScaler CPX based on some of the most commonly asked questions from customers. You’ll also get insights into the architecture of these solutions for microservices infrastructures to help you understand the basics of deployment and sizing.

SKLS402 Strategic selling workshop: leverage experience-driven strategies to gain customer mindshare: Help your customers uncover new use cases, maximize technology investments and collaborate across business lines. This interactive, 90-minute workshop will show you how to leverage customer experience best practices and trends to differentiate from the competition, strengthen relationships with your customers, and lead IT teams to success.

Hands-on labs

The popular Instructor-led Learning Labs are now a pre-conference tradition and they happen on Sunday, January 8, and Monday, January 9. Remember, up to three labs are included with your registration. It’s hard to put a price on this kind of focused training, which gives you the chance to take deep dives into Citrix solutions before you turn your focus to Summit. Labs fill quickly, so be sure to register early to reserve your place.

Summit 2017 will be packed with the resources and training that partners need to win deals and uplevel their skills.
