The award-winning NetScaler ADC is deployed in thousands of enterprise networks because it’s versatile, powerful, reliable and innovative.

Two of the most important capabilities of NetScaler are:

  • Unified Gateway – which consolidates multiple remote access solutions into one for simplicity and a seamless user experience
  • Traffic Management – which enables efficient traffic switching and resiliency

To gain expertise in these two areas, network administrators, engineers and architects previously had to enroll in two separate Citrix Education courses, each lasting five days. But the courses shared several days’ worth of content on NetScaler essentials.

Streamline your training

In today’s fast-paced IT environments, people want highly efficient training to optimize both time and costs.

Citrix Education listened to the preferences of NetScaler students. We extracted the Unified Gateway and Traffic Management topics from the five-day courses and created two new, two-day trainings that complement each other.

This is a great option for IT professionals who already have a good understanding of NetScaler Essentials and its Traffic Management functionality from completing previous Citrix Education courses (CNS-205 or CNS-220). CNS-221 will teach you how to implement, configure and manage NetScaler Gateway and Unified Gateway. The training covers key features such as AppExpert expressions and policies, NetScaler Insight, SmartControl and SmartAccess, and explains how to integrate with XenApp and XenDesktop. By completing this course, you’ll be able to configure your NetScaler environment to meet requirements for secure remote access to apps and desktops.

Networking professionals who have already studied NetScaler Essentials and Unified Gateway by completing the CNS 207 or CNS-222 course will gain the skills required to configure and manage features such as content switching, traffic optimization and global server load balancing (GSLB). Additional topics include Rewrite, Responder, URL Transform and Front-end Optimization. There’s also a module on clustering using NetScaler Tri-Scale technology. At the end of the training, you’ll have the knowledge and skills to address efficient traffic switching and resiliency requirements such as disaster recovery.

Masterful instruction

These courses are taught by Master Citrix Certified Instructors with years of experience, and include access to a virtual lab environment so you can enhance your training with hands-on learning.  Both are offered in instructor-led and virtual instructor-led training formats.

Note: These new courses are available only to students who have completed the mandatory prerequisites.

Save time and money

By taking these new courses, you’ll save several days of training time and cut your expenses as well. Each two-day course is about half the cost of the traditional five-day course.

Best of all, you’ll get up to speed on the latest release of NetScaler, because both courses are based on version 11 (although the skills and fundamental concepts are shared with earlier product versions.)
