The mid-market is an important one for Citrix, and recently we announced updates to our partner programme and incentive portfolio that will directly reward sales activities within this space.

Our new incentive scheme has been designed to acknowledge two key sales functions:

  • Identifying and qualifying opportunities
  • Performing solution selling activities, including proof-of-concept and the demonstration of technology solutions

The changes centre around three key incentives, beginning with the introduction of an upfront discount for certified partners identifying and qualifying opportunities in new or existing accounts. This will ensure that our partners are rewarded for the value they bring to the entire sales cycle, and help them to earn even more profit for fueling growth within the mid-market.

Secondly, we are rolling out a new Strategic Development Fund for Citrix Solution Advisors (CSAs) and Distributors, to replace our existing marketing funding programs. The initiative will provide partners with funds to drive down the cost of marketing demand generation activities which target the highest ROI opportunities in the mid-market space.

Finally, we are simplifying our Citrix Advisor Rewards (CAR) program to ensure our partners enjoy a more predictable engagement model with Citrix Sales, so that we reward their selling activities throughout the sales cycle.
