Meet the Experts Theater
In the Meet the Experts Theater, you’ll meet Citrix customers whose work pushes technological boundaries and learn how Citrix solutions have transformed their organizations to meet business and IT challenges. The experiences of these Citrix experts have changed how we interact with technology—how we architect, virtualize and even gain insight into digital transformation.
These lively, 20-minute presentations will feature the industry’s most transformative thought leaders, who will share game-changing approaches to how they’re addressing real-world IT challenges using Citrix technology, from delivering virtual desktops and enhancing users’ BYO experience to virtualizing environments without sacrificing security.
While all of the Meet the Experts Theater sessions offer intensive learning opportunities, I recommend the following:

Digital transformation is dependent on five outcomes most relevant to business, and the 20 demo stations in The Citrix Booth Experience illustrate how Citrix enables these outcomes, including workforce mobility, workplace redesign, improved customer engagement, better security and IT flexibility.
At each demo pod, you’ll see the latest products and learn how they integrate from end-to-end, securely and seamlessly. The pods are carefully arranged to reflect the challenges you face in your own environment and illustrate the concept of digital transformation so that, as you take steps from station to station, you can discover the incremental value each solution adds.
The process begins from a user’s perspective, where what matters most is the device and the experience. These stations explore Citrix experience, security and flexibility and highlight hot technologies including Raspberry Pi, FrameHawk and the SCOM Management Packs for full-stack monitoring.
The next pods tell the story of how Citrix is working to deliver on the promise of outstanding user experience through app management, with the goal of bringing some much-deserved recognition to IT and making them heroes again. The theme carries on to partnerships, and why Microsoft plays a big role for the user and admin; pods demo Citrix Workspace Cloud on Azure as well as Skype for Business.
The next pods expand into extending the user experience into virtualization, mobility, data sharing and cloud until they approach the furthest reaches of innovation and Unified Workspace solutions.
The demo stations reflect the typical Citrix customer journey, which begins with XenApp and XenDesktop and expands to other components as well as the ecosystem of partners. Citrix sales engineers will be on-hand to help you get the most from the demos and to illustrate these end-to-end benefits. You’ll also be able to try out some of the technology featured in the Solutions Demo Sandbox, and see the new technology announced in the keynotes.
Ask the Experts Bar
Of the many resources at Synergy dedicated to learning and training, the Ask the Experts Bar is the most personal. Here you’ll find experienced Citrix consultants and architects who will answer your specific questions on the spot. Get advice on upcoming deployments and help with design and architecting, and discuss specific use cases. You can even whiteboard a particular issue or dive deeper into a question you had at a demo station. You’ll see the experts as you approach the Reception Desk—someone there will be happy to guide you over for a little one-on-one time. Come with your most pressing questions, and get ready to ask the experts.

The Citrix Booth Experience is open Tuesday, May 24, from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. and then again from 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. On Wednesday, May 25, booth hours are 12:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m., and on Thursday, May 26, from 12:15 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
