Ever wonder what’s the Next Big Thing from Citrix? Something you can experiment with? Something you can try for free and with minimal to no setup costs?
Look no further than the Labs section in Citrix Cloud. It’s where you can find exciting new technologies for new or experimental services and features. It’s where Citrix is innovating at the speed of SaaS.
Newly re-named, Citrix Cloud is already our simplest, fastest, and most flexible way for customers to deliver, integrate, and manage Citrix Technology. And within Labs, you’ll find new services queued-up for possible future integration as well as places where you can discuss and provide feedback.
Early Success – and we’re looking for your feedback
Last year we introduced the Secure Browser Service in Labs, and earlier this year it graduated into one of our most exciting, best-reviewed new technologies. This new technology allows customers to securely deliver web and SaaS applications to any modern browser with zero end point configuration.
Today, in our Labs section, you’ll see a variety of new services we’re piloting – and looking for feedback about:
- Citrix Launch for Microsoft Access
Instantly transform your Microsoft Access reports and forms into a secure web application. End users can access it from any modern browser, making collaboration easy. Read more in the Citrix Launch for MS Access Blog
- AppDNA Express
An easy-to-use service that accelerates the migration of your applications to a Windows 10 environment. Once you provide AppDNA Express with your applications, an analysis report will be presented to help guide you on your path to Windows 10. Read more about AppDNA Express
- Workspace Automation
Based on Octoblu IoT technology, the Workspace Automation service offers a powerful, user-friendly tool for workspace automation. This enables easy integration and automation of a variety of resources – including devices, services, and people. Intuitive drag-and-drop interface and prebuilt connections for Citrix and third-party resources make it simple to build automated workflows that leverage the Internet of Things. More about Octoblu.
In the future, you should expect to see versions of various Labs services integrated into Citrix Cloud as we build out the most powerful workspace delivery fabric in production. And keep checking back – we’re experimenting with new Labs services on a regular basis.
Remember – Labs services are unsupported, may change over time, and may not necessarily become Citrix Cloud services. However, we value your input, feedback, and conversations on our Citrix Cloud – Labs Discussions page.
