For many years, Citrix has had a strong tradition of giving back to the communities where our employees live and work.
In 2010, we launched the first Global Day of Impact team volunteering campaign. Since then, Citrix employees have spent almost 25,000 volunteer days supporting families in need in six different continents.
This April, to celebrate Citrix’s 27th anniversary we are hosting a Global Day of Impact team volunteering kickoff campaign. Our goal is to provide 5,000 volunteer hours in one month! To celebrate our commitment to the environment, we are also partnering with regional environmental organizations to plant a tree for every employee that volunteers.
Employee Service Officers around the globe have been hard at work connecting with charities in their communities in preparation for this month-long event. Employees volunteer with a wide variety of organizations, with the most popular being assisting at local foodbanks and shelters, working with kids in schools, and supporting environmental cleanups. To get a better idea of our employees efforts check out the Simply Serve Facebook page.
Employees are encouraged to support their communities and causes they care about the most. Every Citrix employee receives paid hours of volunteer time, matching dollars for their donations and can participate in a Dollars for Doers volunteer program.
For us, giving back to the community is a way to come together as a global company and to let our employees do what they do best: give their time, talent and passion in service of others.
