Citrix Platinum Partner AceIQ Sweden took the opportunity to come visit Citrix Dublin office in March to receive some deep dive technical training from our fantastic technical support staff.
During our meeting with Hakan Anderson, CEO, and Max Lindqvist, CTO, we learned that as a specialist Citrix technologies and Citrix Platinum Partner, it is important for AceIQ to always be at the forefront and be one step ahead of the developments taking place around Citrix. Also they wanted meet with the Technical Support staff support here in Dublin with whom they have worked with for many years, wanting to know how they could further improve collaborations and their engagement.
Here is a quick rundown of what happened in at the event:
First up the AceIQ team got to meet with me and Colm Naish, Tech Support Managers for EMEA. We held an informal session discussing many topics such as our team structures, our cases flow how we collaborate/swarm with different product team within Citrix and how we can improve our engagement with AceIQ going forward. We talked about many other ongoing initiates at Citrix like a knowledge centred support model, supportability teams and our people investment in training.
The next session was delivered by Lead Escalation Engineer Paul Fingleton; this was a pure deep dive discussing the underlying architecture of Citrix Workspace Cloud – Deep Dive
Escalation Engineer Gary Cahill then ran though and example Netscaler configuration of Kerberos Authentication with NTLM fall back and Kerberos SSO to the backend with constrained delegation.
Senior Escalation Richard Dunne then delivered as Case Study – SDX / Netscaler instance High Availability.
And finally the day finished off with Senior Escalation engineer Kelan Rowe’s deep dive presentation on Machine Catalogues Services and Provisioning (MCS & PVS) for XenApp / XenDesktop 7.6.
CEO Hakan Andersson conveyed his special thanks and appreciation to all the team on the quality and content delivered.
It was great to meet with the AceIQ team, who clearly have tons of passion, enthusiasm and energy for Citrix. It’s certainly no coincidence that they have won the Citrix Partner Accelerator “Citrix Outstanding Achievement Award” for 2015.
