What a week it has been at Cisco LIVE in Melbourne, Australia!

Citrix is, once again, in the spotlight as a Gold sponsor with a large presence in the World of Solutions, and in two dedicated speaking sessions. Citrix was mentioned in the Cisco Technology Keynote, as well as in other Cisco-specific product breakout sessions throughout the event.

Here are some of the highlights.

Speaking to the true value of Citrix solutions and what they mean to the end user experience, Raj Gulani was featured on video during the Technology Keynote session on Thursday.

On Tuesday during the opening reception we were  too busy to get a photo of the booth!  Traffic to the booth and overwhelming interest in the many live demos we provided was invigorating.  Citrix Senior Systems Engineer, Christian Lloyd built this eye-catching solution: a 3D printer that uses Citrix HDX powered by NVidia Grid Technology and a Rhaspberry Pie to drive the monitor and printer interfaces.

CdEYzHyUEAA6rLM.jpg_largeOn Wednesday, I was given the opportunity to speak to an audience of nearly 30 Cisco customers, partners, and employees, specifically about our NetScaler
ACI integration tools and deployments.  Turnout to the session was better than expected, and the audience appreciated being shown real Citrix on Cisco ACI solutions.

Later on Wednesday Citrix was mentioned during the breakout session, BRKACI-2001, “Interoperation of Existing Nexus Networks into an ACI Architecture,” by Cisco Principal Engineer, Mike Herbert.

Driving home the value of NetScaler SDN in the field, Raj Gulani presented on the future of NetScaler with the introduction of NetScaler CPX supporting DevOps environments along with the value Citrix real-world deployments of NetScaler in Cisco ACI networks delivers.

Further validating the overall usability and simplicity of NetScaler with ACI to enable “Fast IT,” Stefan Knight from Dimension Data came on stage and shared his first-hand experiences with the audience.

All in all, it has been another action-filled event at CiscoLive Melbourne, and I’m proud for Citrix to have the opportunity to showcase the value of its innovation with Cisco solutions to participants at the event.
